Purview – The range or scope of authority, responsibility, or concern

Example Sentence – The issue falls outside the purview of the school administration.

Cascade – A small waterfall or a series of events occurring in rapid succession

Example Sentence – The news triggered a cascade of reactions across social media.

Urban – Related to a city or town

Example Sentence – Urban areas tend to have more job opportunities than rural regions.

Clique – A small, exclusive group of people who do not easily allow others to join

Example Sentence – He felt left out because the clique at school rarely spoke to newcomers.

Amplify – To increase in strength, volume, or importance

Example Sentence – The microphone will amplify your voice so everyone can hear you.

Quip – A clever or witty remark

Example Sentence – She made a quick quip that made everyone laugh.

Shipshape – Neat, tidy, and well-organised

Example Sentence – He kept his workspace shipshape at all times.

Flicker – To shine or burn unsteadily or briefly

Example Sentence – The candle began to flicker as the wind blew through the window.
