Volvo Penta raises toast to INSV Tarini crew

Volvo Penta, a leading supplier of engines and complete power solutions for marine and industrial applications, felicitated the all-women naval crew of the expedition ‘Navika Sagar Parikrama’. The expedition was the first ever Indian all-women crew to complete a circumnavigation of the globe. The INSV Tarini is powered by a Volvo Penta engine.

With an experience of more than 100 years in marine segment, Volvo Penta has a long history in the marine world. The D5 marine engine, powering the INSV Tarini, was the right choice, offering the best performance whether it be in routine or critical moments.

During the felicitation, Miron Thoms, head,  Volvo Penta India said, “We are elated to be associated with the expedition. To power such an outstanding endeavour, we ensure that our engines are of superior quality and follow global marine safety standards. As an environmentally conscious organization, we not only have fuel efficient products but also promote the cleaning of our oceans.
