The Vibrant Goa team successfully conducted road shows to Nepal and Bhutan recently for promoting the Vibrant Summit to be held in the state between October 17-19. In Nepal, meetings were held with representatives of the Nepal Tourism Board, Hotel Association of Nepal, Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Society of Nepalese Architecture and the Film Development Board. Post visit, Milind Anvekar, who was part of the delegation with Rita Mody Joshi, Arman Bankley and Gautam Kharangate said that, presentations were made on potential business opportunities to Nepali businessmen. “Impressed with the international road show concept, Nepal which is preparing for Visit Nepal 2020 has sought our help for the country’s forthcoming event,” said Anvekar.
The team to Bhutan comprised Rajkumar Kamat and Ajay Gramopadhye. Forty two Bhutanese business persons, association heads attended a meeting held at India House, which is the Embassy of India in Thimphu..
The Bhutan Chamber of Commerce and industries was the key coordinator for the event. Phub Zham, president of the BCCI promised a trade delegation to Goa to attend the Vibrant summit.
