St Michael’s Convent High School, Anjuna-Vagator celebrated Republic Day with great zeal and enthusiasm.
The celebrations began with a prayer ‘Our Constitution – the road map of India’ to implore God’s blessings on the country followed by a debate session by the students. The topic for the same was, ‘Fundamental Rights and Duties – will you abide by it.’ Students stated their points in relevance to the present scenario, alarming the entire gathering not to fight not only for their rights rather to stand tall for its duties towards the country in order to promote unity in diversity. The debate was concluded by reading the Preamble of the Constitution.
Headmistress, sister, Libia Fernandes on the occasion honoured ASI, Anjuna Police Station, Parmesh Naik for his dedicated services.
