which deflected off a Calangute defender and fell into Stephen’s path, and the second half substitute scored with a simple tap in.
Once up by a goal, Salgoacar FC dominated the match thereon and soon doubled the lead four minutes later once again scoring from a similar situation.
Salgaocar FC’s Selwyn Miranda, on seeing Chaitan in the box, played a long ball from the right flank and the last man headed past Sanij to make it 2-0.
Stephen then made it 3-0 in the 79th minute. He almost scored his treble when he dribbled past five Calangute Association players but fumbled with the keeper at his sight as his weak shot was easily collected.
