Russian national, two minors housed at Mapusa shelter home

Mapusa: A Russian national and her two minor daughters were on Wednesday rescued by Pernem police from their rented house where they were stranded without food. All three are now housed at a shelter home in Peddem and provided assistance.

In view of the lockdown, tourists along the beach belt are stranded. On Wednesday a team of Pernem police rescued three female Russian nationals including two minors from their rented room at Morjim and was shifted to a shelter home at Peddem.

Following which Talathi Viraj Sangodkar, Vivek Korgaonkar, and others at Youth hostel provided them with necessary

requirements such as plates, cups, bed sheets, soap, toothpaste, milk for kids etc.
