The Quitula Sports and Cultural Club, Aldona organised an all-Goa individual singing competition at the Club hall.

Chief guest for the function was advocate, Carlos Alvares Ferreira, while the guest of honour was vicar of St Thomas Church, Aldona, Fr Tomas Lobo. The panel of judges for the competition comprised Ann Barreto, Gema Lourencio and Oscar Noronha.

In the sub-junior category, the first place was won by Eleanor De Sa; the second place was won by Matt Samuel Rodrigues and the third place was won by Mayvan Barreto. The consolation prizes were won by Fanuel Dcruz and Jane Victoria Colaco.

In the junior category, the first place was won by Dwayne D’mello; the second place was won by Bryan Vaz and the third place was won by Johann Rebello. The consolation prizes were won by Amber Martins and Rick Dias.

In the senior category, the first place was won by Svetlana Pinto; the second place was won by Ninoschka Pinto and the third place was won by Mackenan D’souza. The consolation prizes were won by Clarissa Camelo and Nayan Alias Esha Phadte.

Additionally, the ‘Alfred Rose’ prize was won by Ivo Goncalves, while the ‘Voice of Aldona’ prize was won by Bryan Vaz.
