NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Tuesday asked the prime minister to answer on the missing files relating to coal-block allocations before he leaves for the G20 summit.
“The prime minister before going to the G-20 summit (should) explain to the people what happened to the coal files and who is responsible for the same and who is taking the accountability,” said BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu.
The G20 summit is slated to start in St Petersburg, Russia from Thursday.
After the BJP parliamentary meet, Naidu told reporters: “This (is a) very serious issue of the missing files on coal allocation. The parliament session is going on and the government needs to take the house into confidence.”
