HDFC Bank partnered with Aldona village panchayat to set up online payment gateway for the village. Residents will now be able to pay their house taxes online in a quick and convenient manner from the comfort of their homes or offices. The bank has also set up point-of-sale (PoS) terminals at the panchayat office for cashless payment of taxes using credit and debit cards.
Payment can be made online on the website of Aldona village panchayat by clicking on the link or at the panchayat office. “At HDFC Bank, we feel privileged to be chosen as a partner for this initiative. This is a big step in the evolution of the payment mechanism of taxes for services and will help fast-track payments. The online payment gateway was launched by officials from the panchayat, Glenn Souza Ticlo, MLA, Aldona; and Deepak Naik, sarpanch, Aldona in the presence of HDFC Bank’s Dattaram Narvekar, cluster head, Somnath Naik, branch manager and other senior officials.
