New Damro showroom opens on Kadamba plateau

A new outlet of furniture brand Damro opened in Kadamba plateau, old Goa highway. Spread over nearly 10,000 sq. feet the showroom has the entire range of the furniture offered by the brand. PDH Tyron Venisious, director, Damro group of companies inaugurated the store in the presence of Pramod S Prabhu, director, Indsafe Marketing (Pvt.) Ltd.

“The new outlet is spacious and gives ample area for display. Customers can shop in comfort,” said Prabhu, owner of the showroom. He added that, Damro products are very well accepted in the market and everybody in Goa knows about the brand. According to Prabhu, the state offers good scope for furniture sales although demand to a great extent depends on real estate projects and on growth in the housing sector.

Established in 1986, Damro is said to be one of the largest manufacturer of ready-to-assemble furniture in south-east Asia. The brand offers a diverse range of modern and traditional furniture. Since entry in the market, it has achieved rapid success and has expanded to over 250 showrooms in South Asia. Meanwhile in India there are 76 outlets including the two outlets in Goa.

Explaining the successful run of Damro, Prabhu said that it is on account of the brand’s ability to produce high quality furniture at affordable prices with outstanding customer service. He said that, the new premise at Kadamba plateau replaces the St Inez outlet in Panaji. “The St Inez outlet was getting cramped and lacked space for display. This showroom is large and accommodates the entire range.”

Intech Marketing is a 31-year old company that retails various brands including Damro.
