A minute before the break, St Rock’s Roygen Pereira almost scored after he unleashed an angular effort which Sao Jose de Areal keeper Joseph Monteiro managed to tip away for an abortive flag kick.

The second session saw Sao Jose the Areal pressing hard and with neat passes which were mostly initiated on the right flank, were able to score two quick goals one after the other through Alvito Maura.

Alvtio put Areal in the lead following a defence splitting pass by Frederick Andro and Alvtio lost no time in slamming it in past the bewildred St Rock’s Youth Club keeper.

Hardly had the cheers died down, Alvito made a dash to another through ball and scored with ease to make it 2-0 in favour of his team.
