Making a mark as legal advisor to startups

The company was invited recently as an outreach partner to IIT-Bombay’s Entrepreneurship Summit 2020. A platform to boost startups and entrepreneurs, the E-Summit was a resounding success.

Speaking on the experience, Amey Salatry, founder partner, Legal Minds said that, as an outreach partner, he interacted with entrepreneurs, founders, directors and business managers on the fundamentals of business structuring, fundraising, compliances, licensing and efficient contract management. Further, he spoke on the need to adhere to labour laws and intellectual property protection. 

 The two-day summit had Legal Minds LLP mentoring entrepreneurs and amongst other things mentoring the audience on the intricacies of legal and secretarial due diligence, issue of equity-linked securities such as Compulsory Convertible Preference Shares (CCPS) and Convertible Notes, Statutory and Regulatory Compliances such as compliances under the Companies Act, Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) and RBI Regulations. 

 “Our company team had the unique opportunity of interacting with the country’s leading angel investors and venture capital fund managers on emerging investment trends and strategic flow of investments in startups and evolved businesses,” said Salatry.
