Leather brand, Hidesign aims for stronger Goa presence

Luxury lifestyle brand, Hidesign is expanding its presence in the state. A new store of the brand opened at Grand Hyatt, Bambolim, targeted at niche market of global travelers. The store is the brand’s only retail presence in a hotel. 

Interestingly Goa is one of the first few cities to have a Hidesign store when brand first began retailing in the late 90s. Today, the brand has strengthened its presence with two new stores this year, at Dabolim airport and Bambolim, apart from the existing store in Panjim.  

Dilip Kapur, founder and president, Hidesign said, “We are glad to launch our third store at the Grand Hyatt. The space and its offerings are designed to match the demographics that the city caters to. With the high influx of luxury travellers from across the world, Goa is the ideal choice for a brand like ours.”

The approximately 650 sq ft store is located at the galleria of the hotel. It is designed like a Hidesign bag using the same elements and showcasing the same values. The fixtures are custom made in natural materials such as wood, solid brass and natural grain leather and layout follows the brand’s new retail format designed by architect Ayaz Basrai. 

The store showcases extensive collection of products ranging from handbags for women, travel bags, laptop bags, messengers, cross bodies and briefcases for men. New collections such as Wild West, Brooklyn and Manhattan are also on display. Customers have the choice of free shipping.  and pay Cash on delivery while shopping online
