\nOf me to wish order everywhere..
\nIn alignment to my symmetric self
\nTo see the world a pattern bear…<\/p>\n
Set out to categorise things
\nBoundaries I ended up making,
\nHow sure I was, that to civilise
\nHumanity i was helping…<\/p>\n
These boundaries gave people
\nIdentities
\nAnd to me , immense pride
\nAfter all the chaos i thought
\nI had managed
\nTo get peace on our side..<\/p>\n
Now I said we have names to live for
\nA purpose to perceive who we are
\nBut people had taken the fences too serious
\nSeeing foreigners as bizarre…<\/p>\n
Their identity was only, they believed
\nSuperior than every other
\nThey would do everything it took
\nTo paint the world their colour…<\/p>\n
I can no more see the bloodshed
\nThe brutal murder
\nOf my own kind
\nNo more can I mute their pleas…<\/p>\n
All these years, all these tears,
\ndear give me
\nTogether let’s wash away
\nThese boundaries….<\/p>\n
My hand in yours
\nAnd yours in hers
\nLet’s lift us all united
\nI see no difference
\nNo identity of my own
\nAll win the war we never started<\/p>\n
