Memories of our childhood
\nAre those of days gone by
\nThose past memories we now remember
\nWhen staring at the cloudy grey sky
\nWe were allowed nonsense
\nAnd no one said a thing
\nNow since this has followed
\nWe get to hear a whole lot of shouting
\nThe friends we had that long time back
\nAre in the deepest of our memories
\nSome might still be at our side
\nWhile others might have become enemies
\nThese are memories of a past so distant
\nWe can now only sit and recall
\nThe times we were carefree
\nAnd we didn\u2019t know it at all
\nTo think all we wanted was to grow up
\nTo think we wanted to get older
\nWe thought childhood would last forever
\nBut at that time we couldn\u2019t have been wiser
\nNow we\u2019d rather have those childhood days
\nAnd yes, we\u2019d do it all over again
\nBeing silly and naughty is part of the game
\nLiving again is most definitely not a pain
\nBut alas! This is our reality
\nAnd time is the greatest thief
\nIt does to us the same
\nAs autumn to a leaf!<\/p>\n
