\nOur schools of politics so full of exuberance,
\nthey are existing since last fifty years and over,
\nthere are the Principals in our schools of politics
\nthey are the Professors also known as Ministers;
\nthese Ministers keep moving from one class to another
\nthe class is the party, the students are the public
\nthe opposition leaders are the supervisors.
\nthese schools of politics have been so widespread
\nthat our students know every professor by his name,
\neven the ex-students and their children can identify
\nthese principals and these team of professors
\nanywhere, anytime as they never leave their field;
\nalso so high is the familiarity and popularity
\nof our leaders as our Principals
\nthat our ministers as the professors follow the rules
\nof the institution called Party School.
\nNow, let us begin by the subjects they teach and handle:
\nthere is Mathematics of profits and surplus
\nthere is multiplication of assets and gains \u00a0
\nthere is addition of finance and corruption
\nthere is subtraction of people\u2019s money and taxes;
\nthere is Science to every aspect of health and nutrition
\nthere is supply of oxygen and medicines to the needy;
\nthere is food and water scarcity in many homes
\nbut there are also grants and agricultural loans.
\nThere is History behind every hero to make him zero
\nthere is theft and attempted robbery which is overlooked by law;
\nthere is betrayal and deception as they change
\nfrom one classroom to another or from one party to another
\nyet they write and create their own chapters of history
\nirrespective of the shame and name they invite and profess;
\nthere is also Geography in their curriculum
\nas in every village and every city they stand and speak loud
\nto win the elections
\nand they keep canvassing for votes and victories.
\nOur professors who are ministers are always
\nvery cordial with their Principals called party leaders
\nthat each one does what is told by them with dedication and commitment
\nonly for their personal gains more than reducing people\u2019s pains.
\nThe students called the public keep passing their academic years of life
\nwatching these Principals (Party leaders) and Professors (Ministers doing their jobs)
\nlike swords with double edged intentions and ingenuity;
\nand as elections keep passing like sports events
\neven our children\u2019s children know these leaders
\nas they have been seen by them before their eyes for many decades
\nthat if they see a fat man they say \u2013 that is Winston Churchill;
\nif they see someone with dark glasses
\nthey identify him as the one from Vasco da Gama.
\nSometimes it gets too overbearing to keep on learning
\nbut our politicians as our leaders don\u2019t give up teaching
\nGoans the subject of politics with gusto,
\nthey want all Goans to be sincere-to-them students
\nthey want all Goans to follow the rules of faithfulness to them
\nwhen they themselves keep shifting from one party to another
\nlike playing a game of rugby in the swimming pool.
\nNowadays, the school of politics is the best institution for the future profession
\nbecause as a politician one stays in power
\nand he can hold on to this lucrative job for umpteen years
\nuntil he is rich and richer than all others in his locality
\nthat he can even field his children in the future to be politicians
\nby luring people with illusory promises to get elected as minister
\nand finally forgetting the duty and devotion
\nto his own Report Card of conscience.<\/p>\n
