As the first month of this year is nearing its end, NT KURIOCITY<\/strong> asks youngsters how their New Year is going so far<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type=”1_3″][et_pb_image _builder_version=”3.8″ src=”http:\/\/www.navhindtimes.in\/kuriocity\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Nikita-Kim-Rego-teacher-Vasco.jpg” \/][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”2_3″][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.8″]<\/p>\n It was a struggle to make it through 2020, thus welcoming 2021 was a victory. However, 1st<\/sup> January was far from the usual as the most awaited parties remained a luxury as many enjoyed only at home. This year has so far been an awakening as it has taught me a lot about planning my life the \u2018new normal\u2019 way. The wait and announcement about the arrival of the vaccine, the amended education policies and changed norms for the New Year were overwhelming. Yet, I hope and pray for this year to be an exceptional one for all.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Nikita Kim Rego, teacher, Vasco<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type=”2_3″][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.8″]<\/p>\n The new year has been pretty boring so far, honestly it doesn\u2019t even feel like a new year. But the one good thing I\u2019m already looking forward to is a family wedding, I\u2019m very excited about. I\u2019m also going to try and read as many books as possible. I won\u2019t say it is full of surprises but rather it a something different. The lockdown and 2020 hit hard and so as whatever I do, I\u2019ve learned to practice gratitude. Every time someone says it\u2019s going good, things mess up the next moment. I had my semester end exams at the onset of the year, ending this week. So I\u2019ve been busy preparing for those. Besides that I have other things planned, and have started working towards it with great hopes in the year 2021. I\u2019ve been able to meet some of my distant friends after the long wait, and have been to a few places, which I\u2019m happy about. I look forward to explore more, be a better person, reach out in different ways and try unconventional ways of doing things that I love. I\u2019m into painting, and this year I would love to try working on mixed media pieces and look at the different side of everyday things.
