Heralding the festive season

With less than two months left for Christmas, festive preparations at Hotel Fidalgo began with the traditional cake mixing ceremony. As per tradition, the ingredients of the festive plum cake are mixed with wine and liquor in advance. The mixture is then left to soak till just before Christmas when the sealed containers are opened to bake the cakes. Guests and staff joined in to spread fellowship and goodwill as they welcomed the holiday season. The ceremony was followed by high tea that was served to all guests.
