The special court of the anti-corruption branch on Wednesday remanded assistant director of transport Uday Gauns and assistant motor vehicle inspector Vaman Umbrascar of the directorate of transport to two days police custody.


The special court of the anti-corruption branch on Wednesday remanded assistant director of transport Uday Gauns and assistant motor vehicle inspector Vaman Umbrascar of the directorate of transport to two days police custody. The two were arrested on Tuesday for accepting bribe of 90,000 rupees for allowing a person to ply his interstate trucks in Goa. The two accused are attached to the RTO enforcement wing, Panaji.
