Panaji: Glenmark’s Goa facility bagged two prestigious safety awards, the Safety Innovation Award 2019 from the Institute of Engineers and the Health and Safety Award at the 8th ACEF Asian Leaders Forum. The awards were presented by Vinod Kumar Yadav chairman, Railway Board and ex-officio principal secretary, Avinash Oza, zonal marketing manager, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd respectively.
The Safety Innovation Awards are given to companies for introducing concepts of occupational safety awareness in operations. While the 8th ACEF Asian Leaders Forum and Award for Health and Safety recognises achievement of safety goals, safety training, and successful implementation of safety practices.

The Goa facility of the company manufactures oral solids, semi solids and hormones. It is approved by regulatory bodies like US FDA, TPD (Canada), MCC (South Africa), WHO-GMP, ANVISA (Brazil) and MHRA (UK).
