The CII Indian Women Network (IWN) Goa, organized a session on financial planning recently. With a financial plan in place it is easier for individuals to make financial decisions and stay on track to meet future goals. The sessions aimed at simplifying and understanding the importance of a few products. Over 50 companies participated in the programme and learnt the basics of financial planning. Earlier during the event, Sheetal Pai Kane, chairperson, CII IWN, welcomed the gathering. In her speech she spoke about the experiences and challenges of women professionals at work as well as the importance of creating gender parity in business and society.
