Ecotiva club and YUVA make Campal a greener place

Ecotiva club of Don Bosco College along with YUVA, a youth centric organisation in Panaji and the Forest Department organised a plantation drive at Campal. The aim of the initiative was to raise awareness among the youth and encourage them to plant trees in their surroundings.

Students of Don Bosco College planted total 21 saplings of different trees such as kokum, karvanch, almond, jamun, pedi, tedu, tamarind, etc.

Speaking at the plantation drive DRO Nilesh Naik said: “Trees are getting less on our Earth. We have to plant a tree every month.”
