EaseMyTrip comes up with solution for its customers

New Delhi:, (EMT) one of the leading players in the Online Travel Aggregators segment, has come up with an inventive solution for the customers traveling to and from Mumbai in the wake of Mumbai runway closure, say a press note issued here.

The company, thus, is facilitating its customers with a free bus ticket to Mumbai from its nearby airports to save inconvenience.

The main runway of Mumbai Airport is closed for commercial flight operations between 9 AM and 5.30 PM till 28 March, 2020 for re-carpeting work.

Because of this, travelers might face difficulties travelling to the city during this period. There is also expected to be a sharp rise in airfares by almost 20 to 30 per cent since lesser fights will be operational. Since Mumbai is one of the busiest airports of India, any restriction on flights landing at its airport would result in a huge impact on airfares.

The fares are set to shoot up especially for last minute bookings. To provide an innovative way-out to its customers, EaseMyTrip is suggesting them to travel to the nearby airports and travel via buses to Mumbai. This will not only reduce their travel cost but also save them from the hassle of keeping a track of the runway closure.

The company is therefore giving its customers bus coupon worth Rs1,000 on using the code MUMBUS while making flight bookings to nearby destinations- Pune, Nasik, Nagpur, Nanded or Aurangabad.

Once the flights are booked, bus coupon code will be sent to the customers through email to avail the discount on their subsequent bus booking to Mumbai.

More details could be obtained at, mentions the press note.
