Drug Abuse and Cyber Crime Awareness sessions at DB HSS

Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Panaji organised value-building sessions for staff and students on the topics ‘Drug Abuse’, ‘Illicit Trafficking’ and ‘Cyber Crime’. Police sub inspector from the anti narcotics cell Theron D’Costa and K Simran from the cyber society of India were the guest speakers. D’Costa highlighted the various types of drugs and their harmful effects and strongly advised students to refrain from trying them. In a highly interactive session, K Simran enlightened students about cyber crimes and their consequences as well as precautions to be taken while posting material on the social media.
