Dempo BBA hosts ‘Inspirit 2014’

The BBA Department of SS Dempo College of Commerce and Economics, Panaji, hosted the second edition of the junior level management fest, ‘Inspirit 2014’ at the Menezes Braganza Hall, Panaji, on December 5, 2014. The central theme of the event was ‘Innovation Beyond Boundaries.’

The event saw participation from eleven higher secondary schools across the state including Don Bosco, Panaji, Our Lady of Rosary, Dona Paula, Deep Vihar Higher Secondary,Vasco, S S Samithi, Ponda, Manovikas, Margao, GVM’s, Ponda, Mushtifund, Panaji, Sharada Mandir, Panaji, Dhempe, Miramar, Dempo, Miramar and Dyanprasarak Mandal, Assagao.

The event consisted of some very innovative and competitive rounds such as AD mania, sell it off, crazy creations, biz – quiz, logo remake and Inspirit archives, enabling students to explore their creativity and management skills.

The event was inaugurated at the hands of Administrator of Dempo’s Charities Trust, Sunil Prabhu Dessai, and vice principal Harip Khanapuri.

The event concluded on a high note with the valedictory ceremony wherein the chief guest was Rajkumar Kamat, promoter of Epii Kamat Group and vice president of Goa Small Industries Association. Kamat delivered a motivational talk on following one’s own passion and how the entire universe conspires to help one achieve success.

The overall champions were Don Bosco Higher Secondary, Panaji and the runners-up were Manovikas Higher Secondary, Margao and were felicitated at the hands of the guests. The function concluded with a vote of thanks by the BBA forum president Harsh Kotecha.
