DBCE signs MoU with Persistent System Limited

In a bid to promote awareness about innovation in industrial and professional sectors, the Computer Engineering department of Don Bosco College of Engineering conducted an event titled ‘DBCE Dream Big: Industry-Student Connect’.

The first speaker at the event was director, Ideaz Unlimited, Kishore Shah who spoke on the topic ‘Developing the Innovation and Entrepreneurial Ecosystems’. This was followed by Q&A session moderated by alumnus Caesar D’Silva.

An MOU between Persistent Systems Limited and the department of Computer Engineering DBCE was signed by vice president, PSL, Girish Bharne and director of the college, Fr Kinley D’Cruz.

The following sessions were conducted by director at Ulavan Agritech Services (OPC) Private Limited, Tarun Krishna Kumar; alumnus, Rohit Sankapal; and alumnus and cofounder, Earnestek Shravan Hegde.

At the event, a prototype drone weighing 1.99 kilograms and comprising different electronic components developed by Ulavan agri-tech services was displayed.
