CM seeks status on implementation of Atma Nirbhar Bharat

Panaji: The Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, on Tuesday, sought the status on implementation of various components of  Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, a  financial  package, from all the departments and autonomous bodies in the state.

A circular issued by the office of the secretary to the Chief Minister states that the Prime Minister of India has announced the package worth Rs 20 lakh crore for the recovery from the COVID-19 impact, and the Chief Minister desires to know the status on implementation of various components of this package in the state.

The circular further states that in case, the concerned department mentioned against each component does not have the desired information, the same needs to be obtained from the relevant agency of the government of India or the bank within the state of Goa as the case may be.

J Ashok Kumar, Secretary to the Chief Minister has asked all the departments and autonomous bodies to furnish the details by July 2, 2020.
