Dramatic footage of US troops in live combat in Kandahar

KANDAHAR:  US and Afghan troops were on patrol and engaged in live combat in Kandahar Province in southern Afghanistan on Monday.
 Soldiers of the 2nd Brigade of the US 101st Airborne Division operating in the region manned a mortar battery at Forward Operating Base Wilson, on Sunday, firing 120mm shells to support colleagues under attack two kilometers (one mile) away.

Over 50 killed in Pak suicide attack

ISLAMABAD:  A suicide attack on a procession organised by Shia students and subsequent firing by protesters at Quetta in southwest Pakistan on Friday killed over 50 people and injured more than 100 others, hours after two terrorist attacks left as many persons dead in the northwest.
