BJP threatens to disrupt budget session

KANPUR/LUCKNOW:  Ahead of the Finance Minister, Mr Pranab Mukherjee’s meeting with opposition parties on Tuesday, the BJP on Saturday  said there would be no dilution in its stand on a JPC probe into the 2G spectrum scam and threatened to disrupt the budget session of Parliament if the demand was not met.

NEW DELHI:  Seeking to drag the earlier NDA government, the one-man committee that went into spectrum allocation from 2001 said there have been violations of procedures in giving 2G licences but it equally damned Mr A Raja saying his actions in 2007-08 were not consistent with cabinet decision.
