SC directs CBI probe into 2G scam from 2001-2008

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court Thursday directed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to carry out investigations into the 2G spectrum scam and widened the ambit of the probe to include telecom policies from 2001 to 2008, covering both the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) regimes.
