Customs sleuths seize gold bars worth `56 lakh at Dabolim

VASCO: The air intelligence unit of the commissionerate of customs at Dabolim airport on Saturday seized 20 gold biscuits, weighing 2.320 kilogram worth nearly Rs 56,25,000, transported illegally from two different Goa bound Dubai airlines. The customs sleuths in this connection have arrested four Keralite passengers, among them two boarded the flight at Mumbai airport.

Kerim panchayat cries foul over anti-soil erosion work
