Valuables worth Rs 1.80 lakh looted from Kundaim temple

PONDA: In a daylight burglary, valuables including 120-gram gold and cash, collectively worth Rs 1.80 lakh, were stolen from Laxmi Narayan temple at Dasolwadda, Kundaim here on Thursday. This is the seventh temple burglary reported in Ponda taluka, this year, of which just two cases have been

17 tourism-related properties lying unutilised

PANAJI: In all 17 properties acquired by the government or transferred by other government departments for tourism related projects and measuring nearly 4.70 lakh square metres have been lying unutilised for periods ranging up to 30 years, while 20 others (some of which acquired over 40 years ago) and also running into lakhs of square metres have been partly utilised.

GTDC evicts Paradiso Goa from Anjuna property
