State has 6,791 vehicles with HSRP

PANAJI: Goa has a total of 6,791 vehicles with the high security registration plates installed, with just 187 vehicles having the number plate installed this year. As per information available with the transport department 6,604 vehicles were fitted with the HSRP last year.

CBI sleuths raid architecture institute office at Benaulim

Work on in full swing to clear Ambolim Ghat road

PERNEM: The Amboli Ghat road in Maharashtra which was blocked by debris following massive landslide last week, is yet to be cleared. After the incident of a youth succumbing dying due to injuries allegedly caused after a stone fell on him while having a bath at the Amboli waterfall on Sunday, the Maharashtra police aren’t allowing tourists to have a bath at the waterfall.

Cashier at city saw mill murdered

PANAJI: The Sub-Divisional Police officer (SDPO), Mr Deu Banavalikar, informed that 46-year-old Shantaram Laxman Gaonkar, was found dead in a pool of blood in his room, situated at a city saw mill at Mala-Panaji on Monday morning.
