Mid-day meals: FDA directs 2 SHGs to shut down activities

PANAJI: The officials of the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) on Friday directed two self-help groups engaged in preparation of food under mid-day meal scheme of the state government, to stop their activities in the premises used by them for the purpose as they were not authorised, besides issuing notices to 19 others to correct certain deficiencies noted during inspections.

Congress-NCP alliance likely to remain intact
