1703 vehicles with tinted glasses booked in Ponda

PONDA: The Ponda traffic cell has collected ` 1,70,300 as fines by booking 1703 cases of tinted glass on cars and other four wheelers in the last six months. Villagers to have final say on tiger reserve

PANAJI: The fate of the proposal of the Union ministry of environment and forests to declare Mhadei wildlife sanctuary as a tiger reserve would be decided by nearly 1,600 families of 17 villages that would fall in the boundary of the "proposed reserve" and whose opinion was most important for the state authorities to act on the proposal.
