SEC reservation proposal has no mention of ST candidates

PANAJI: Just as the State Election Commission (SEC) has recommended to the government holding of elections to the 30 wards of the Corporation of the City of Panaji on Sunday, March 13, 2011, a proposal from the Commission to the government as regards reservation of certain wards in various categories, has no mention about reserving any ward for the Scheduled Tribe community candidates. The new council at the CCP needs to be constituted by March 20, 2011.
