CM assures firm action against illegal sand extraction

PANAJI: The Chief Minister, Mr Digambar Kamat told the state legislative assembly on Wednesday that strict action would be taken against those involved in illegal extraction of sand at Kumbharwada in Shiroda constituency, even as he said that the flying squads would take prompt action against illegal hill cutting at Karai Salium and Anandwadi.
