Newborn girl found murdered in Mapusa market

MAPUSA: A newborn girl was found murdered in Mapusa market on Friday night. Mapusa police said that the body of the newborn, her umbilical cord still attached, was wrapped in a cloth placed inside a plastic bag and was kept in a basket. The infant was killed by tying a rubber band around her neck.
