Onion prices collapsed in Maharashtra

PANAJI: Nashik farmers refused to allow trucks loaded with onions for Goa to leave on account of the drop in prices. Farmers went on a strike when prices of onion crashed to Rs10 on Wednesday from Rs35 on Monday.
