Candolim NGPDA office converted into quarantine unit

Candolim; In case of any eventualities, the NGPDA office next to  PHC Candolim has been converted into  quarantine unit to treat  people in case there are any positives cases effected with COVID -19 in the beach belt .

The PHC Candolim has taken precautionary measures by quarantining tourist and locals who have come from other states as a precautionary measures a team of PHC , Police and panchayat jointly act while quarantining people in the beach bel,t informed panchayat sources.

Speaking to this daily the health officer in charge of Candolim PHC  Dr. Roshan Nazareth said that a meeting was called in which all the sarpanchas of 9 villages coming under the PHC Candolim, Calangute MLA and Calangute PI to discuss precautions in case of any eventuality.

Speaking further Dr Roshan Nazareth said that we have kept the NGPDA office with two beds with homoeopathy and ayurvedic doctors and nurses  in case there are any COVID -19 cases in the beach belt at present 82 cases were screened who had travel history all came negative .
