“Konknni will always march forward and literature must be produced in all the scripts of Konknni. One should write in the script he is comfortable with because if we insist that he has to write in a particular script then injustice will be done to creative writing,” said Harischandra Nagvenkar who was chief guest at the prize distribution function organised by Dalgado Konknni Akademi (DKA). The function was held at DKA’s Reginald Fernandes Conference Hall and present on the dais were guest of honour, Brazinho Soares; special invitee, Natividade de Sa; DKA president, Premanand A Lotlikar and secretary, Vincy Quadros.
DKA’s Book of the Year 2015 Award was presented to Marcos Gonsalves, while others were felicitated for their winning performances in literary competitions and certificates of participation were presented to writers who took part in competitions.
