Workshop on new foreign trade policy by GCCI
With a view to carefully analyze the provisions of Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) and Handbook of Procedures Vol I (HBPv1), Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be organising a full-day workshop on April 15 at GCCI Convention Hall, Panaji.
The workshop will cover para-by-para analysis of all important chapters of Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) and Handbook of Procedures Vol I (HBPv1), new export promotion schemes, duty exemption / remission schemes, changes in existing schemes, changes in EOU and deemed export related schemes, trade disputes etc.
The workshop shall be conducted by Sudhakar Kasture and is meant for all top level and mid-level stake holders of international trade, exporters, importers, senior and junior executives working in the field of international trade.

Tech Fridays by GITIC
Tech Fridays are the brainchild of GITIC and is open to all. Since its inception it aims to have a common platform for IT businesses, ‘technopreneurs’, tech enthusiasts and the tech community overall to meet, exchange ideas and commune.
Previous speakers have included Biju Naik, Dr Puranjaya Singh, Sandesh Prabhudessai, Manguirish Pai Raiker, Tata Tele-services, Anand Ramaya of Karma Films, Gautam Verlekar and others.
Some of the resultant activities that have come out of this have been common resource sharing between companies to take on more contracts and better use human resource, CEO speak and the formation of the Goa IT Community group. It has also been beneficial for startups who are keen to network with other startups and established companies.
