Seminar on ‘safety aspects at construction sites’ held in Margao

VALPOI: The Institution of Engineers (India), Goa State Centre in association with Indian Concrete Institute, Goa Centre had organised a two-day all India seminar on “Safety Aspects at Construction Sites” at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao recently . The seminar arrangements were made by Anwar Khan, convenor of the programme under the guidance of Chandrashekhar Prabhudessai, chairman of IEI Goa State Centre. The inaugural function was held in the presence of chief guest chairperson, Margao Municipal Council, Dr Babita Prabhudessai and the guest of honour, president elect, GCCI Manoj Caculo. The seminar was attended by civil engineers, builders, students, engineers from PWD, WRD, GSIDC, government departments and other professionals involved in construction industry from all over India. Technical research papers were also presented during the seminar. IndiaMart InterMesh IPO to open on June 24

MUMBAI: IndiaMart InterMesh Limited (Company), India’s largest online B2B marketplace for business products and services with approximately 60% market share of the online B2B classifieds space in India will be launching its initial public offering (IPO) which is scheduled to open on June 24, 2019 and close on June 26, 2019, with a price band of Rs 970– Rs 973 per equity share of face value of Rs 10 each of the company (the “equity shares”). Minimum bid lot is 15 equity shares and in multiples of 15 equity shares thereafter. The equity shares of IndiaMart InterMesh Limited are proposed to be listed on BSE and the NSE. ICICI Securities Limited, Edelweiss Financial Services Limited and Jefferies India Private Limited are the book running lead manager to the offer.  

Awareness on welfare scheme benefits held at Bicholim

BICHOLIM: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant said that special enrolment camps will be conducted in all village panchayats to create awareness and enrol the general public into different welfare schemes of the central government initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The first such camp was held in Bicholim taluka. Dr Sawant addressed the meeting of government officers, managers of nationalised banks, officers of information and publicity department.  Bicholim mamlatdar Praveenjay Pandit who is also the coordinator of special camps to be held in Bicholim taluka was also present. In the meantime the first special enrolment camp for enrolling the public for various schemes of the prime minister in Bicholim taluka will be held on June 23 at the village panchayat hall Pale- Bicholim.
