Bajaj Auto transitions to BS6 compliance

Bajaj Auto launched 14 BS6 complaint vehicles across its CV range. The company launched BS6  vehicles for the RE, Maxima and Maxima Cargo brands. With the launch the company now has the widest range of commercial three- wheelers in

BS 6 technology.

The RE brand now comes with fuel injection (FI) Technology in a 236 cc engine across three fuel options in alternate fuel (CNG, LPG and petrol). This delivers improved power and pick-up while meeting the BS6 emission norms. In the Maxima brand the same engine has been re-configured to meet BS6 emission norms and continues to deliver consistent power and pick-up. The diesel range across RE and Maxima brands meets the stringent BS6 norms through systems like EGR and catalytic converter with the same 470 cc diesel engine.  Combined with these best in class offerings the company has also increased its free service

across the range to three full free services inclusive of labour, filter and oil change.  In the overall three-wheeler segment, Bajaj Auto continues to be the market leader with a share of 58 per cent in domestic market

in 2019-20.
