E-bike travel start-up, B Live kicked off the Joy of Giving program for corporates. Counto Motors-Mercedes Benz took the first step in supporting the cause with a 30-odd team from the dealership riding e-bikes through Panaji to spend an evening of fun and laughter at Humara School, St. Inez.
The children at Humara School and the team had a ball with games, music and dance performances. The team from Counto Motors, who participated in the ride, said that, giving is not just about make a donation, it’s about making a difference”.
Aakash Khaunte, managing director, Alcon Group, Counto Motors- Mercedes Benz, added, “We believe in environmental consciousness and B:live is helping us move towards green sustainability with electric bikes. What they bring to the table is their ‘greenness’ not newness, but their ability to help us get around without creating carbon emissions.
Samarth Kholkar, chief executive officer, B:Live, said, “This initiative encourages corporates to adopt sustainable mobility with e-bikes provided by us. In addition it marks the beginning of a program that is about bridging the gap between those who have and those in need.”
Expressing gratitude to Counto Motors-Mercedes Benz for participating in the initiative, he said, “We want to encourage more organisations and companies to join the noble movement to spread the cheer.”
