7th COVID-19 positive case in Goa


Yet another confirmed case of coronavirus (COVID-19) has surfaced in the state, taking the total number of confirmed cases in the state to seven. 

Health Minister Vishwajit Rane took to Twitter informing that the latest case is of a  man from St Estevam who had returned from a foreign country.

Rane said that the particular man soon after being tested positive, he was shifted to ESI Hospital in Margao which is designated for admitting COVID-19 positive patients.

Meanwhile, Rane in another Tweet said that eight Goans  who had attended the Tablighi Jamaat congregation in Delhi’s Nizammudin has tested negative for COVID-19 while report of one sample is still awaited.
