45 people quarantined at home in South Goa

Curchorem : Forty-five people from Kakoda, Sanvordem, Dabal, Karmane, Curchorem and Xelvona have been home quarantined by the Curchorem community health centre as a precautionary measure. 

Their travel history is being studied. There is a possibility of putting more people under home quarantine.

A list issued by the Curchorem police station says there are 28 males and 17 females belonging to the age group of 17 to 57 years, who have been put under home quarantine.

Those quarantined at home include four senior citizens who had gone abroad; some of them had visited other Indian states.

Of the 45 home quarantined, 16 persons belong to Sanvordem, 14 are from  Kakoda, nine are residents of Dabal, one is from  Karmane, three from  Curchorem and two are residents of Xelvona.

These persons had travelled to Gujarat, Pune, Karnataka, Bengaluru, Belagavi, Orissa, Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Chennai.
