4 held in connection with female body found in gunny bag

NEW DELHI: Delhi police have arrested four persons for allegedly killing a 25-yr-old female whose body was found in a sack near railway line at Sarita Vihar on February 27, police said on Monday.

The accused were identified as Dinesh, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Chanderkesh and Rahimuddin.

As per prima facie, it seemed that the female was first murdered and then her body was dumped in a gunny bag. She was missing from February 26 from Ambedkar Nagar.

A hand written note was recovered from the deceased, alleging four of the accused for her killing.

After cross-questioning, the accussed Dinesh confessed of his crime. He said that he planned all the plot with one Dhirender to seek revenge from a person he came in contact while in jail.

Dinesh said that he called the female whom he knew and assaulted her and kept hostage. Later, on the pretext of releasing her, accused persons forcefully compelled her to write a letter to falsy accuse one Aarush and two other boys of Sangam Vihar.

The accused Dhirender is still at run. Further investigation was underway police said.
