Assolda: Guardian Angel SC booked their place in the semifinals of the 17th St. Anthony Festival Cup 2025 with a 5-4 win in a penalty shootout against Guirdolim Club at the Moll Ground in Assolda on Tuesday.

The match ended goalless in regulation time.

In the tie-breaker, Guardian Angel found the net through Milroy Clemente, Fedrich Fernandes, Godwin Costa, Ivon Costa, and Cyril Dias. Guirdolim replied with goals from Sevaraj D’Costa, Akram Yadward, Sunny Fernandes, and Valentino Carvalho but fell short.

Ivon Costa’s finish and solid display earned him the Man of the Match award.
