The Global Goan Association, a non-profitable and non-governmental organisation dedicated to uniting the global Goan community under a single umbrella will be inaugurated on January 10. 12 p.m. by Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant at a grand ceremony at Hotel Fidalgo, Panaji. The organisation is headed by president Simon D’Silva, based in
Doha, Qatar.
NRI commissioner Adv. Narendra Sawaikar will be the guest of honour, while Aldona MLA Adv. Carlos Ferreira will be the special invitee and keynote speaker
at the function.
The event will feature the release of a special dedication by Global Goans’ singing sensation Sanio Fernandes, Dubai.
Goa’s pop singer O’luv along with Alcatraz fame singer Morgan Viegas are expected to perform during the launch. The event will be hosted by Anunsya D’Cunha Pereira, USA, and Gasper
Crasto, Kuwait.
