Goa recorded 413 new COVID-19, and 13 more deaths associated with the deadly infection in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 2,891.

The positivity rate of the total 3,298 samples tested on Thursday stood at 12.52 per cent as against 14.44 per cent, which was recorded on Wednesday when 3,157 samples were tested.

The confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Goa currently stand at 1,61,153, of which 5,605 are active cases while 1,52,657 patients have defeated the
deadly disease.

According to the DHS, active positive cases in the jurisdictions of urban health centres stand as follows: Margao- 385 cases, Vasco – 174 cases, Panaji- 279 cases and Mapusa
– 117 cases.

While the active positive cases in the jurisdictions of community health centres are as follows: Sankhali – 219 cases, Bicholim – 98 cases, Pernem – 201 cases, Valpoi – 154 cases, Curchorem – 186 cases and Canacona – 111 cases.

And, the active positive cases in the jurisdictions of primary health centres stand as follows: Aldona – 57 cases, Betki – 139 cases, Candolim- 188 cases, Cansarvanem – 39 cases, Colvale – 90 cases, Corlim – 158 cases, Chimbel – 262 cases, Siolim – 119 cases, Porvorim- 210 cases, Mayem – 65 cases, Balli – 130 cases, Cansaulim – 185 cases, Chinchinim – 117 cases, Cortalim – 218 cases, Curtorim – 147 cases, Loutolim – 183 cases, Marcaim – 121 cases, Quepem – 159 cases, Sanguem – 167 cases, Shiroda- 152 cases, Dharbandora – 113 cases, Ponda – 535 cases and Navelim – 126 cases.
